(Joongboo Daily) The Gyeonggi Contents Agency holds 'G-START E' programs in Southeast Asia.

The Gyeonggi Contents Agency, the Bucheon cluster announced that it held 'G-START E' program in Jakarta, Indonesia and Hanoi, Vietnam from the 20th to 26th of last month. 'G-START E' Overseas expansion Acceleration Program is a project to support global advancement by selecting 10 promising start-ups in Gyeonggi Province from Gyeonggi Provincial Promotion Agency.
The program is run by Southeast Asia specialist Accelerator Shift. The major institutions in Vietnam and Indonesia, including Campus-K, TOPICA Founder Institute and Market Navigator, have cooperated.

There are 10 companies participating.
 
Currently ▶ Idea Concert ▶ Style Sellers ▶ Three Muni Studios participated in Indonesia program,
▶ Human Talk ▶ NewKoADwind ▶ WikiBox ▶ TWIDA ▶ Alumer ▶ CHOOSE YOUR MODEL ▶ Emotion Wave 7 companies participated in the Vietnam program.
 
The shift official said, "We hope that the startups have been very helpful in understanding the Southeast Asian market and establishing a strategic advance plan through the Shift Acceleration Program." In the future, we hope that more Korean companies will not be afraid to enter the Southeast Asian market,"
 
CampusK representative Kim Tae-ho, who was in charge of the Vietnam program, said with emphasis.
"Korea's start-ups are excellent in technology, business model completeness, and UX, but have difficulty in getting settled in the first place because they do not accurately read Vietnamese local customer needs and localize them. It is important to meet with experts and trusted partners from the outset to establish a systematic and strategic advance plan."
